Twitter is a mostly miserable place to spend all of your time on the Internet. I know because I spend way way WAY too much time scrolling through Twitter every day. You can find me on there at @casspa by the way. And as I was scrolling last night I came across this thread of ‘Cam Newton as Beanie Babies’ where someone took pictures of Cam Newton in his gameday outfits and put them side-by-side with Beanie Babies as proof that Cam’s jacking all his fashion inspo from stuffed animals.

Apropos of nothing, I’d love to see a chart which showed the actual day when the Beanie Babies market imploded. There were millions of suburbanites out there convinced Beanie Babies WERE IT and they were going to stay valuable forever. I’d really like to see a visualization of when everything went to trash and the bottom fell out.

Anyway, Cam is a sharp dresser. 7 out of 10 times he nails it. He does miss with some outfits but that’s what happens when you’re swinging for the fences with every Sunday outfit. This Twitter thread of Cam’s outfits inspired by Beanie Babies might not enrich your life in any tangible way but we’re just here to have fun today, aren’t we?

Seriously, Cam is out here channeling that Beanie Baby vibe and this dude came with the receipts. Cam catches a lot of chatter about his outfits but maybe it’s the Beanie Babies who need to answer for his fashion crimes.

They just keep going. So many. So so so many Cam Newton x Beanie Baby outfits. It’s amazing.
