Steelers defensive tackle Cameron Heyward blamed his butt for an accidental retweet regarding his head coach.
The veteran defender was seen re-posting a message calling Mike Tomlin a fraud following the Steelers’ fourth loss in five games.
BS…I can’t stand Tomlin, and he’s a Fraud and Clown that’s been carried by Ben his ENTIRE career…However….Cam Heyward was running 30 yards downfield (again) to make tackles that the LB’s wouldn’t make…Shut up Ryan [Clark].
Heyward immediately caught flak for the post, but he had the best possible excuse for the anti-Tomlin sentiment.
Cameron Heyward blames his negative retweet on his butt
After many of his Twitter followers pointed out the retweet, which bashed head coach Mike Tomlin, Cameron Heyward responded with a top-notch excuse.
Disregard my last retweet. That was a butt retweet. Dum Dum Cam.
The 300-pounder may have a point, too. He has a bit more mass in the ass than your average Joe. And it’s highly unlikely that he’d bash the head coach he’s spent the last decade playing for in Pittsburgh.
Still, many on Twitter were quick to chime in on the hilarious incident. Check out the immediate reaction on social media.
One fan joked, “Cam Heyward forgot to switch to his burner account before retweeting.”

This follower didn’t necessarily believe Heyward’s story saying, “Cam Heyward out here cappin’. Bruh, you know you meant to retweet that. Still love you though, big dawg.”

Whether you believe him or not, there’s no denying the excuse behind the retweet was gold.
