Many analysts like this hire for the Cardinals as he Gannon was heavily recruited by numerous teams for their head coaching positions. Meanwhile, NFL fans are using the Eagles’ poor defensive efforts to bash the hire.

Regardless, the Cardinals have their man despite the rumors regarding Kyler Murray. Most of those talks have been shut down. The most notable one being Sean Payton.
It’s interesting to see Arizona hire a defensive-minded coach. Even so, it’s not like Murray is a rookie. He’s proven to be extremely talented.
Most of the flack he receives revolves around questions about his leadership and off-field habits.
Even so, bringing in Gannon could prove to be what the Cardinals need to get back on track. With that said, all eyes will be on Kyler Murray to see how he recovers from his knee injury.
