What’s better than one hole-in-one on the loudest Par 3 in all of golf? Two hole-in-ones on the loudest Par 3 in all of golf, and that’s exactly what we got on Sunday, courtesy of Carlos Ortiz.
Sam Ryder managed to make an ace on the Par 3 16th at the WM Open on Saturday creating one of the wildest scenes in all of sports. Beer cans rained down from every angle after Ryder made his hole-in-one.
Unfortunately, we don’t see hole-in-ones all that often at the Par 3 16th, so going into Sunday, the odds of seeing another player make an ace were slim to none, but Ortiz had different ideas.
The 30-year-old out of Mexico stepped to the 16th tee and managed to hit the perfect short-iron and the next thing he knew, the ball was in the bottom of the cup.
The ace on the 16th was Ortiz’s third career hole-in-one on the PGA Tour.

While the scene wasn’t quite as wild as what we saw after Ryder’s hole-in-one on Saturday, fans certainly still enjoyed themselves after witnessing Ortiz make an ace of his own.
The Par 3 16th at the WM Open continues to deliver year after year.
