There has been no player more talked about in sports this year than Aaron Rodgers. Between his medical views, his relationship, and his decision on the future of his NFL career, there has been plenty to discuss. Now, another high-profile individual in the sports world whose quotes seem to always make headlines has voiced his opinion on Rodgers.
That individual is none other than Charles Barkley. Barkley was making an appearance on “Waddle and Silvy” on ESPN 1000 when he dropped the kind of quote about Rodgers that couldn’t come from anybody but Barkley.

I can’t wait to see how Rodgers responds to that one. If there’s anything we’ve been able to count on throughout the season, it’s that Aaron Rodgers will respond any time somebody has something negative to say about him, even if there is some validity to the statement. Rodgers certainly hasn’t hated the attention he’s gotten this offseason and last offseason.
There are also legitimate gripes that Rodgers has with the way the Packers have handled the last few seasons and the lack of a second viable receiver behind Davante Adams.
Luckily the Green Bay Packers seem to be doing whatever they can to remind Rodgers how pretty they think he is. They hired one of his favorite coaches this offseason. They’ve discussed personnel with him. They claim to be interested in signing Adams to a long-term deal so Rodgers can finish his career with his favorite receiver.
At the end of the day, it’s better for the Packers do what they have to to keep the pretty girl happy than to lose her. We saw Jordan Love as their starter last season and that wasn’t winning any beauty pageants.
