In the world of pro football, it seems that the spotlight is always on star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. as several teams express interest in acquiring him for the upcoming season. Two of those teams are the Kansas City Chiefs and the New York Jets.
According to a report by Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, the Kansas City Chiefs have shown interest in both DeAndre Hopkins of the Arizona Cardinals and free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. The Chiefs, who are known for their high-powered offense led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, are looking to add more talent to their receiving corps. They are expected to draft at least one receiver, but the decision to pursue either Hopkins or Beckham Jr. will likely come down to cost.
Jets Are In On Odell
Meanwhile, the New York Jets also have their sights set on Beckham Jr. According to SNY reporter Connor Hughes, the Jets have a “very real” interest in signing the star receiver.
Hughes reports that Beckham Jr. and likely new Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers have a close relationship and have discussed playing together in New York. Rodgers, who is expected to leave the Green Bay Packers this offseason, reportedly wants Beckham Jr. on his new team.

Browns Are Still Trying
But the Cleveland Browns are not out of the running either. Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett is “working” on convincing Beckham Jr. to sign with Cleveland. OBJ previously played for the Browns in the 2019-2020 season before suffering a season-ending injury.

As for Beckham Jr. himself, he has made it clear that he is seeking a deal worth more than $4 million a year. Despite missing significant playing time due to injury over the past few seasons, Beckham is still considered one of the most talented receivers in the league and could command a high salary.
It remains to be seen where Beckham will end up for the upcoming season, but it is clear that several teams are interested in acquiring him. As the offseason progresses, football fans will be eagerly watching to see where this star receiver will land.
