The Kansas City Chiefs are set to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in what is hopefully an entertaining Super Bowl.
However, for wide receiver Mecole Hardman, today is an even bigger day. With that in mind, the fanbase hopes his latest update is a good luck charm on Sunday.
According to Dov Kleiman, Hardman’s girlfriend, Chariah Gordon, is in the hospital because her water broke. It sounds like a Super Bowl baby is being born!

This is great news for the Chiefs wide receiver. Considering he’s on the IR, he wouldn’t be playing in the game today anyway. Instead, he’ll be able to be alongside his girlfriend at the hospital while his child is being born.
The same scenario happened last year for Van Jefferson. He left the arena immediately after the LA Rams won the Super Bowl to see the birth of his child.
Chiefs fans are happy for Mecole Hardman and hope the good news is a good luck charm for the Super Bowl.
