It’s only the first game of the season but Chris Collinsworth has already found himself at the center of controversy due to his commentary.
During the NFL’s season-opening game between the Bucs and the Cowboys, Collinsworth found himself discussing Antonio Brown’s career and briefly mentioned the wide receiver’s “off the field stuff.”

“Antonio Brown when you look at some of the numbers he’s put up in his career, and of course he’s got that million dollar smile of his, they’re just remarkable, it’s just almost unbelievable what he’s been able to do, and yet because of some off the field stuff he’s sort of faded to the background until last year.”
Some people did not appreciate that Collinsworth described Brown’s serious sexual assault allegations as “some off the field stuff.”
Cris Collinsworth just dismissed the rape, sexual assault, and battery accusations against Antonio Brown’s as “some off the field stuff.”
Great job, Cris. Thank you for all your hard work.
