Chris Gotterup is on a tear over his last two PGA Tour events. The 26-year-old is seeing it pay immediate dividends.

Gotterup has doubled his career earnings in just two weeks. His bank account has a few more zeroes than it did when he started the season.

The golfer entered the Scottish Open in early July with no Top 10 finishes in 2025. He’d made 13 of 22 cuts with his top result being a 12th-place standing at the Zurich Class of New Orleans.

In his first three seasons of play, Gotterup made around $1.7 million. He recorded one win across 40 tournaments, banking $502k in 2022, $83k in 2023, and $1.17 million last year.

Through his first 20 events in 2025, he added a little over $1 million, putting his career earnings at $2.76 million. That number has since doubled!

Chris Gotterup cannot be stopped.

There is no hotter golfer outside of Scottie Scheffler. Gotterup won the Scottish Open, banking $1.575 million in the process. He had to fend off Rory McIlroy to do so, beating the Irishman by two strokes.

He followed it up with a Top 5 finish at the British Open.

Gotterup shot +1 on his first day at Royal Portrush. He then ripped off a string of sub-70 rounds on Friday (65), Saturday (68), and Sunday (67).

Gotterup finished the tournament at -12 and in sole possession of third place. His performance at The Open came with a $1.128 million payout.

That puts his earnings total from the last two events at $2.703 million. He’s nearly doubled three and a half years of production in about 10 days!

Chris Gotterup will have a chance to continue adding to his bankroll as the season rolls on. He hopes the success continues, as do the massive paydays.

Next up is the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota.
