The Cleveland Browns are hoping that the 2022 season brings them more success than 2021. After trading for Deshaun Watson, the hope is that the former All-Pro quarterback will be allowed to play this fall and takes the franchise to the next level.
As the Browns try to figure itself out on the field, its fans remain as passionate as ever. Although they may not touch the craziness of tailgates in Buffalo, tailgates in Cleveland are incredibly rowdy— even as it is hot and sticky in the early months or gets colder than a polar bear’s toenails from late October on.
Now, for 2022, the team is helping its more wealthy fans stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The Browns recently unveiled their new, ridiculously expensive ‘Premium Tailgate Experience’ and immediately got roasted.
The experience rather underwhelming, particularly for the price, and the entire thing is pretty laughable. It’s almost more embarrassing to rent the experience than to not be able to afford it.
The swanky looking trailer features modern upholstery, HD TVs, “all-inclusive” food and drinks, and an outdoor patio on the roof. The “all-inclusive” food and drinks is probably the biggest selling point because the rest of the experience is simply doing too much.
The @Browns are excited to introduce a new gameday experience this fall at @FEStadium: Premium Tailgates.

Don’t get me wrong, it would be a fantastic luxury to have the trailer at your tailgate.
But it kind of defeats the whole purpose of tailgating. And, for the price, it might be a better investment long-term to just buy your own trailer.
Cleveland’s ‘Premium Tailgate Experience’ allots you one of four identical trailers for four hours and can host up to 20 people. For that amount of time, regardless of the group size, it will cost anywhere from $17,000 to $22,000 total with a $1,000 deposit due right away.

Although there is a good chance that the ‘Experience’ sells out for the season (because people are dumb), that doesn’t stop the entire thing from being hilarious. As soon as the ‘Experience’ was posted on Twitter, NFL fans had all kinds of jokes, questions and quips.
Will the accommodations come with massage therapists found on Instagram?

The unique game day experience I would love to see, is for the @Browns to win the opener and then the division.

The only way to tailgate for the Browns is drinking beer at 7am in the Muni Lot

I’m a season ticket holder and that is awfully high class for our kind. I’d be worried what they look like after a loss 🤣.

Seriously. This has to be a joke, right? Like a late April Fools perhaps? The sad part is, the idea is great. But those trailers are made for a baby shower, not a tailgate.

Imagine what the ‘Experience’ is going to look like after the Browns lose… hopefully they have a plan to get those trailers the heck out of there!
