Unhinged Colby Covington Mocks Ian Garry, Takes Wild Shots At Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson At UFC 296 Press Conference

Ian Garry couldn’t attend the UFC 296 press conference on Thursday due to an illness, but that didn’t stop Colby Covington from taking shots at him.

For the past month, Garry’s wife has been at the center of controversy after fans uncovered that she once wrote a book called “How to be a WAG.” Despite her insistence that the book was satire, fans, and other UFC fighters have continued to poke fun at Garry about it.

To start the UFC 296 press conference, Covington immediately decided to take a shot at Garry and his wife.

“I have one more survey for you all, for all the people out there, how many have you f—ed Ian Garry’s wife.”

Garry wasn’t the only fighter to be targeted by Covington. Moments later, Covington made a wild accusation towards Stephen ‘Wonderboy” Thompson for running a karate school for kids and picking them up in a school bus.

“Stephen shouldn’t be on the top 10 list or the pound-for-pound list, but he should be on the list that all the community knows about, I’m not saying he’s a pedophile, but he checks all the boxes.”

Eventually Colby got under Leon Edwards’ skin and had a water bottle thrown at him.
