The Washington Commanders franchise has been a hot mess for years. Right now, they’re surprisingly hanging in there against the Green Bay Packers. However, the fanbase decided to send a direct message to owner Dan Snyder mid-game.
Commanders Fans Tell Dan Snyder To ‘Sell The Team’ With Epic Chant
According to Nicki Jhabvala, the fans began chanting “Sell the team” during the Commanders’ home game against the Packers. It’s an embarrassing look for Snyder, especially considering his team is playing decently enough to remain within range of Green Bay.
They're chanting "SELL THE TEAM!" at FedEx Field now.

Even so, the more days that go by the worse it gets for Washington. With all of the accusations Dan Snyder faces, selling the team is his best option. Additionally, it’s not like he’s even been a good owner either. The Commanders have largely been a bottom feeder in the league while FedEx Field is one of, if not, the worst stadiums in the NFL.
On top of that, Dan Snyder has multiple other owners wanting him out of Washington. Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has been extremely vocal lately. Although Snyder claims to “have dirt” on several owners, it doesn’t seem anyone is too scared of him. Even so, it’s just another reason for him to sell the Commanders.
We’ll see how it plays out. Considering the fans, other owners, and pretty much everyone else in between wants Snyder out, then it could happen sooner, rather than later. He’ll likely put up a fight until the end, but with everything going against him, it’s hard to imagine he remains as the owner of the Commanders for much longer.
