Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Antwaun Woods was pulled over in Frisco, Texas back on December 3rd for going 77 mph in a 60 mph zone and now his arrest video has been released.
The cops said that they smelt a strong scent of marijuana coming from the car according to TMZ and let’s just say that sounds about right seeing as how the officers found two glass mason jars and a small gold cylinder container full of weed in his Escalade. There was also a marijuana cigarette stuffed inside of a half-full water bottle, too.
The cops’ explanation for the arrest was pretty simple as you can hear them say in the video ‘so, listen, you’ve got too much marijuana, okay?’ Woods replied back with an ‘are you serious’ but that didn’t keep officers from arresting him.
According to the TMZ report, Woods, who has yet to be disciplined by the NFL at this time, was booked for a 3rd-degree felony for tampering with evidence (for the weed stuffed in the water bottle) and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
It’s a pretty tough scene for the second-year man out of USC. It sure looks and sounds like he was just out riding around smoking a joint, but speeding is a no-no when you decide to bring two mason jars filled with weed as your passengers inside the car.
