Cowboys fans had every right to believe their squad had a legitimate shot at hoisting their first Lombardi Trophy in a decade. Their 13-3 regular season record made them the team to beat in the NFC and the excitement surrounding their electric rookies was tangible. But, in true Cowboys fashion, they were ousted by a more seasoned Packers squad in the divisional round, 34-31.
Some people took it harder than others. No one, and I mean No. One. took it harder than brothers Justin and Robert Boyer. Justin, 40, and Robert, 46, were involved in a deadly altercation in Las Vegas sparked by the Cowboys loss.
According to 3 News Las Vegas,
Close friends of the brothers say the yelling was over the outcome of the Cowboys vs. Packers playoff game. A roommate separated the brothers but police say Justin came back and physically attacked his brother. That’s when police say Robert feared for his life and stabbed him.
Robert Lewis says he found Justin Boyer with multiple stab wounds at his front door. The stabbing happened across the street at Robert Boyer’s home. Friends say, Justin, was visiting from North Dakota.
Officers ruled Robert Boyer acted in self-defense. Police sources say Justin suffers from a mental illness.

Not a good start to the offseason for the Boys. Fresh off getting bounced at home as the #1 seed and now they have a dead guy on their conscience. Oof.
