Team owner Jerry Jones didn’t want to talk about whether or not he was going to fire Garrett this week.

“I’m not going to get into it at all, an evaluation or an assessment,” “I’m not. I’m going to do exactly what I always do and get up, go forward and do the best job that I can. We’ll make those decisions accordingly.”
I also asked Jerry Jones they if Jason Garrett isn’t the guy next season if he will make decision relatively quick so Garrett can be apart of other coaching searches. “That implies (pauses) an area I don’t want to get into tonight”

Jerry Jones won’t comment on Jason Garrett’s future tonight but we will be talking about it starting on @gmfb and throughout the day. It’s clear Jones is heavily invested in Garrett and that relationship but it’s also clear this team disappointed more often than they should have

Jerry Jones continued to praise HC Jason Garrett when I said it sounds like he’s not shutting the door on him, he told me “there’s no doors shut here tonight. None.” But he also told us “I can see myself making a lot of changes in a lot of areas. The times call for that” we wait.
