Dana White is doubling down on the success of his new slap league.
White raised eyebrows a few weeks ago at UFC 288 when he proclaimed that Power Slap was getting bigger social media numbers than the NBA, NHL, NFL, F-1, and WWE combined.

“The deal that I just cut for Slap is bigger than the UFC deal we cut with SpikeTV after the first season of The Ultimate Fighter,” White said. “I don’t give a s— what the media thinks about it. They don’t matter. It’s unbelievable. Not only is it unbelievable money-wise, it’s been unbelievable as far as social media goes.
“We’re number one in all of sports, and when I say all of sports — if you take the NBA, NHL, NFL, F-1, WWE, and who am I forgetting, and add them all together, their numbers don’t compare to Slap.”
We asked White about his comments and he didn’t back down from his stance. According to the UFC President, not only is Power Slap bringing in big numbers on social numbers, but he says that he’s paid back his initial investors and that the company is already profitable.
‘We’ve done 1.5 billion views on TikTok alone, the average view count on TikTok for us is 11.4 million…We invested $10 million into Power Slap for season one and the first live event, and all of my investors have been paid back their money. Power Slap is making money. If you look at most of these companies, when you think of combat sports, the PFL, One FC, Bellator, and whoever else is out there, after one season of the reality show, this company is profitable.’
Power Slap recently held its second event on Tuesday, and White plans to film a second season of the reality show in Abu Dhabi later this year.
