While UFC’s new deal with Paramount is a game-changer, PPV is not officially “dead”, according to Dana White. On Monday, the UFC announced a new $7.7 billion, 7-year deal to air all future events on the streaming giant’s platform for a flat fee of $ 12.99/month.
UFC rights in the U.S. go exclusively to Paramount in 2026.
Numbered UFC events will be available to Paramount+ subscribers at no additional fee as UFC moves away from PPV model.

While fans celebrated the death of the pay-per-view model, White clarified that PPV could come back in the form of special events.
“There’s no pay-per-view involved in this deal,” White told the New York Post. “Pay-per-view is not dead.”
“Let’s say there’s a scenario: I am involved in boxing, I am involved in slapping, I am involved in jiu-jitsu, and I’m involved in the UFC. What I love about this business is, I can lay out what we think the fights are going to be for a year, and a fight will pop up that I never saw coming. A star will pop up out of somewhere. Anything is possible. And you could do a one-off pay-per-view.”
It’ll be interesting to see how fans react if the UFC ever decides to bring back pay-per-view events in the future.
