If you have a functioning brain, you’ve anxiously been awaiting the moment some low-level New England Patriots employee falls on his sword and accepts blame for DeflateGate.

It appears that moment may be getting closer.

FOX’s Jay Glazer just reported the NFL has focused its efforts on one of the little guys responsible for ball-handling.

FOX Sports has learned that the NFL has zeroed in on a New England Patriots locker-room attendant in connection with the scandal of improperly inflated footballs used in the AFC championship game against Indianapolis.

The person of interest was already interviewed by the league. The NFL is trying to determine whether any wrongdoing by this individual occurred, sources tell FOX Sports.

There is surveillance video showing the attendant taking the footballs from the official’s locker room into another room at Gillette Stadium before bringing them out to the field, sources tell FOX Sports.

Ooooooooo! Someone who doesn’t make much money is as about to be in TROU-BLE.

Remember, Patriots coach Bill Belichick held a press conference 48 hours ago in which he stated, with certainty, his organization was guilty of no wrongdoing.

We need this video and we need it now. If only there was a team well known for the ability to get its hands on such sensitive material. If only.
