Devin Booker has been taking advantage of what Paris has to offer while playing for Team USA at the Olympics, and one fan who was rocking his jersey while walking around got an awesome gift courtesy of the NBA star.
The United States men’s basketball team has lived up to expectations at the Olympics since arriving in Paris, as the overwhelming favorites to take home the gold medal dispatched Serbia in their first game of group play in a 110-84 rout before ensuring it will have a spot in the quarterfinals with a 103-86 win over South Sudan.
Devin Booker did what he could to contribute to the cause in those contests, as the starting guard racked up 12 points, three assists, and four rebounds against Nikola Jokic and Co. before posting a 10-6-1 line against the opponents who gave Team USA a scare when they faced off in London ahead of the Olympics.
Booker found himself with some time on his hands ahead of America’s showdown with Puerto Rico on Saturday, and prior to watching Simon Biles do her thing on Thursday, he opted to hit the streets of Paris armed with a trunkful of pairs of his signature Nike “Book 1s” that he hid around the city while broadcasting his adventures on Instagram Live.
During his travels, Booker encountered a guy who was rocking his Phoenix Suns jersey, and while it seemed like the man didn’t actually recognize him based on his reaction when he was approached, he was nonetheless invited to the van where Booker was keeping the sneakers to swap out his kicks for a fresh pair.

That’s not the only cool interaction Booker had when making his way around Paris, as he also encountered a guy on a bike who had a basketball and a pair of shoes in the bag he was carrying before signing his sneakers.
What a dude.
