Dez Bryant Vows To Get Revenge On The Dallas Cowboys After Getting Released ‘I’ll See Those Guys Twice This Year’

Earlier today, the Dallas Cowboys cut longtime wide receiver Dez Bryant in a cost cutting move that would save them $8 million in cap space.

Bryant’s declining production and $12.5 million salary would make a deal difficult, but given the money thrown at receivers less decorated than Bryant maybe a team would be willing to part with a mid-to-late pick.

If the Cowboys release Bryant, they can save either $8.5 million or $12.5 million against the cap. The Cowboys could choose to take the entire cap hit this season, saving them $8.5 million in 2018,

Bryant’s future has been the biggest topic of the Cowboys’ offseason, because of his $12.5 million base salary and $16.5 million salary-cap figure.

Since signing a five-year, $70 million contract in 2015, Bryant, 29, has not recorded more than 69 catches or 838 yards in a season. He missed time in 2015 with a broken foot and was bothered in 2016 with a tibial plateau fracture.

As he was leaving the facility Bryant reportedly told reporters that he would see the team “twice this year”.

Dez then took to Twitter to thank the fans for all the love and support they were giving him following the team’s actions.
