Over the past few years we have taken a look at a number of ridiculously impressive exercise drills and workout routines being done by NFL players like Alvin Kamara, Saquon Barkley, and, umm, Tom Brady.
Another NFL player who has already proven on the field what an amazing physical specimen he is is Seattle Seahawks stud wide receiver D.K. Metcalf.
A 6-foot-4, 229 pounds, almost all of it muscle, Metcalf opened eyes during his rookie season in 2019 by catching 58 passes for 900 yards and seven touchdowns after lasting until the second round when Seattle took him with the 64th overall pick in the draft.
Metcalf, who won’t even turn 23 until December, is also opening eyes with what he can do off the field as well as a recent video of him leaping laterally over a series of 42-inch hurdles went viral this week.
With good reason. Watch this, and as Tracy Ford of the Ford Sports Performance Facility in Bellevue, Washington joked, “Don’t try this at home.”
.@dkm14 doing 42 inch Lateral Hurdle Jumps! He is a unreal talent but what’s more impressive is his work ethic. Don’t try this at home.. 👀#Bunnies #RealBounce #NFLOffSeasonGrind @brgridiron @BleacherReport @espn @SportsCenter pic.twitter.com/OzlAlZXCeU

Jeezus. That is impressive.
Cornerbacks in the AFC West should be very, very nervous right about now. Just look at this dude…

Someone else who should be a little scared is whoever gave Metcalf a 95 speed rating in Madden 21.
Stop playing, 😂 I need to run the 40 again huh? https://t.co/sMVoQo3flh
