Fox Sports college basketball analyst Doug Gottlieb is getting crushed over his latest Caitlin Clark take.
For the past week, several highlights have shown Clark draining deep threes in practice with the Indiana Fever ahead of her WNBA debut.

While Clark has been receiving praise over her practice sessions with the Fever, Gottlieb noticed something about her shooting motion that he didn’t like.
According to Gottlieb, Clark has “flaws” in her shooting mechanics she might want to fix if she wants to do well in the WNBA.
The amount of work it takes to be consistent through her mechanical flaw is really impressive. If you were advising her, would you fix it in the offseason? @HoopConsultants pic.twitter.com/0JvLFRPDNK

Except she is not. She is a great player, scorer, but 37.8% from 3 isn’t elite. Better comp, better scouting, bigger defenders, more space, will be interesting

It didn’t take long for fans to rip Gottlieb to shreds on social media over his take on Clark’s shooting mechanics.

Despite Doug Gottlieb’s critiques, Clark will probably do just fine with her current shooting stroke.
