The NBA offseason is already ramping up. Especially after the Phoenix Suns traded for Bradley Beal.
On Monday, Draymond Green made a decision that could alter his future in the league and fans are convinced he’ll be joining the Los Angeles Lakers.
According to Shams Charania, Green opted to decline his $27.5 million player option for the upcoming season. Draymond Green is now an unrestricted free agent.

For now, it’s not clear what Green plans to do. But it sounds like he’ll be considering all options, even re-signing with the Golden Stat Warriors, per Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Warriors have been motivated to sign Green on a new deal.

It’s still early in the offseason and the veteran power forward is going to weight his options.
Even so, NBA fans seem convinced Draymond Green will be joining the Lakers this offseason.

We’ll see how it all plays out. In reality, there are multiple teams outside of the Lakers that could use Draymond Green.
The Phoenix Suns should be monitoring him closely, especially if Green is willing to sign the veteran minimum.
Another team that could consider signing him are the Portland Trail Blazers, but only if they plan to continue building around Damian Lillard.
Look for the veteran power forward to receive plenty of attention throughout the offseason. Even if he is nearing the end of his career.
