The Golden State Warriors found themselves at a 20-point deficit against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night.
However, the team was able to put on a show in the second half and walked away with a big win.
Even though Stephen Curry had another monster performance, Steve Kerr credits the victory to Draymond Green’s trash-talking and fouling instead, per Anthony Slater.
Kerr didn’t hold back when discussing Green. He was clearly impressed by the fire Draymond Green seemed to light under the team.

Additionally, Green claims that the game against the Pelicans is the exact type of game he likes to play. Apparently, CJ McCollum said something on the court that triggered the Warriors forward to trash-talk and foul his team to victory.
"It take[s] a real one to talk when you down 20…I was able to get my guys going, and then they started doing what they do, and I can do what I do."

Let’s not forget Stephen Curry’s amazing performance in this game though. Sure, Kerr credits Draymond Green for the win. But Curry’s monster performance helped the Warriors a ton.

Either way, basketball is a team sport and Green knows his role. Every squad needs someone who can light that fire and there’s a reason why this team has been so successful over the years.
Everybody on the roster just meshes well together during games.
