Philadelphia Eagles superstar AJ Brown is one of the NFL’s best wide receivers.
Brown was selected No. 51 overall in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans.
He quickly developed into a star, catching 52 balls for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns as a rookie. Brown then made the Pro Bowl in his second season before a slight drop off in his third.
Prior to the 2022 season, however, he was dealt to the Philadelphia Eagles on draft night.
Brown then put up career high marks in receptions (88), yards (1,496) and touchdowns (11) en route to a second-team All-Pro selection. He also helped the Eagles reach the Super Bowl.
But as it turns out, he may have a little extra motivation to his game than anybody knew.

Brown revealed that he withdraws $100 after every 100-yard game and $1,000 for every touchdown and at the end of the season he donates the total to charity.
Additionally, he keeps the money with him as a reminder, taped inside of the backplate of his pads.

Perhaps Brown’s philanthropy shouldn’t come as a surprise. He also made a $25,000 donation to his high school in Starkville, Mississippi prior to the 2022 season.

Additionally, Brown partnered with the Open Door Abuse and Awareness Program for the NFL’s “My Cause, My Cleats program” this past season.
“We partner with communities and schools to educate youth about character development, violence prevention and safe dating,” the program says of its services.
So it appears that not only is AJ Brown one of the most dangerous wide receivers in the NFL if you’re an opposing defense, but he’s also a pretty impressive guy off the field as well.
The 25-year-old, who turns 26 in June, is carving out quite the legacy for himself.
