Former ESPNer Bomani Jones is not pleased with LeBron James and his agent, Rich Paul, for strong-arming the league to draft Bronny James.
Ahead of the NBA draft a story leaked claiminng Paul, who is serving as Bronny”s agent, warned teams not draft his client or else he would play in Australia next season.
Not long after the story dropped, Bronny was drafted by the LA Lakers with the 55th pick in the NBA draft.
Jones reacted to the whole situation by trashing LeBron for forcing his son to play with him in a series of tweets.
“Still can’t believe either lebron thinks this is a good idea. and it’s embarrassing more ppl in my profession won’t call this the clown sh t that it is.”
“Rre you saying it’ll be old for bronny to be thanasis west? an internet laughingstock? This is his daddy’s ego run amok and i can’t see how it’s good for the young man. but hey, it’s a cute headline, right?”
“And hey, if you say it’s just the 55 pick, cool. i get that argument. but when he makes the team? and that feels like a when, not an if. we’ll reconvene then.
