Monday night, during Game Three between the St. Louis Blues and Dallas Stars in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, a puck got loose and went into the crowd hitting a young fan seated in the second row.
Seated nearby was none other than Dallas Cowboys star running back Ezekiel Elliott, who saw what happened to the lad and headed over to check on him.
After meeting the boy and seeing that he was okay, Zeke was nice enough to snap a selfie, even posting it to his Instagram stories.
The best way to feel better after getting hit by a puck?

Considering the boy was wearing a Dallas Stars jersey, one has to imagine that getting a photo with one of the best running backs of this century more than made up for getting dinged with a stray puck.
Very cool move by Elliott, who appeared to be having the time of his life throughout the game.

Sadly, all of this good karma wasn’t enough as the Stars ended up losing to the Blues 4-3 and are now down two games to one in the series.
