A week ago Tuesday Arizona based YouTube star BigDawsT showed up to the Warriors-Rockets game looking like Klay Thompson’s twin brother. (It really is uncanny. Check out the comparison above.)
This is something he has done before over on his YouTube channel with great success…
However, many on the internet naturally had no idea who he was, resulting in a treasure trove of hilarity created by folks on Twitter…

Hi I’m klay Thompson and I have direct tv
And I’m off-season klay Thompson and I have cable pic.twitter.com/NTjWhAzZ3g— Rami (@rami__zbib) October 18, 2017
And so it went.
However, BigDawsT wasn’t the first sports fan to pull off a move like this. In fact, there have been numerous sightings of “fake athletes” in 2017. (Remember fake Conor McGregor?)
Check out some of the lookalikes who have been fooling fans all year in the GIFs below created by BETONLINE.ag starting with the latest…
Klay Thompson and “Fake Klay Thompson”…
James Harden and “Fake James Harden”…
Kobe Bryant and “Fake Kobe Bryant”…
Conor McGregor and “Fake Conor McGregor”…
Lionel Messi and “Fake Lionel Messi”…
Crazy, right? Now I am just waiting for a “fake O.J. Simpson” to start making the rounds. Oh wait, that is probably going to happen…in approximately seven days.
