FOX’s coverage of COPA America and EURO 2024 has infuriated fans this year.
For the past few weeks, fans have complained about FOX sublicensing games to FUBO and Alexi Lalas’ annoying pregame coverage.
On Monday, FOX found another way to piss off fans by showing the USA-Uruguay game from an absurdly high overhead camera angle.
Congratulations to the Uruguay vs USMNT game for having the worst camera angle of all time. Wtf is this pic.twitter.com/pwR8KEO8Lo

” This USA vs Uruguay match camera angle might be the worst viewing pleasure I’ve ever experienced. Feels like we are watching from a blimp!”commented one fan.
“what is this all-22 camera angle for this game? cameraman zooming in from the moon” said another fan.
According to Stu Holden, CONMEBOL provided the camera angle to FOX.
"This is not a stadium for ants. This is a very high camera for the CONMEBOL world feed." 🤣🎥🐜@StuHolden shares what everyone's thinking 😅 pic.twitter.com/V7ps4Ag8Of

It’s still unclear why FOX would allow COMMEBOL to give them such a terrible camera angle for a highly televised game that they paid a ton of money for.
