Shortly after FAUās 63-14 loss at No. 7 Oklahoma on Saturday, a loss coach Lane Kiffin called āembarrassing,ā Florida Atlanticās Alumni Association sent a mass text proclaiming the Owls the victors.
āFAU just beat #7 ranked OU on their home field. Letās celebrate by helping more athletes,ā the text read.
A link then appeared taking followers to an FAU web page that read in part:
āFAU Beats Oklahoma! Winning in Paradiseā
FAU also had a post on their website that claimed they had won.
