This year, the Cleveland Browns did what many people thought was impossible when the franchise managed to reach a new low after failing to win a single game over the course of a season that is best summed up by the literal dumpster fire that ignited outside their stadium in October. The year was plagued with impressive displays of incompetence both on and off the field, with the only real positive takeaway being the money that was raised for charity thanks to the parade organized to commemorate their awfulness.
However, the parade apparently wasn’t the only celebration to take place this year in honor of the team’s sheer ineptitude. According to Jeremy Fowler, a number of coaches who were previously fired by the team got together during the NFL Combine in Indianapolis over the weekend at a gathering that would only have a slightly smaller small guest list than one reuniting the 18 quarterbacks Joe Thomas has played with since joining the team in 2007.

The Browns have had six different head coaches since then, and if you want to find someone who actually had a winning record during their stint in Cleveland, you’d have to go all the way back to Marty Schottenheimer, who helmed the Browns for five years in the 1980s.
It’s not entirely which coaches attended the party, and while I assume Bill Belichick failed to make an appearance, I’m sure Mike Pettine was glad to get a chance to see if he was the only person who lost his ability to smell or see colors because of the mental trauma that comes with coaching the team.
