Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver turned broadcaster Cris Carter is out at Fox Sports the network announced Thursday morning.
Fox Sports statement: "Cris Carter is no longer with Fox Sports. There is no further comment at this time.”

Carter has not appeared on the FS1 morning show "First Things First" since Oct. 30.

Carter had been mysteriously suspended by the network last week “pending an investigation according to report from The Big Lead’s Ryan Glasspiegel.

Cris Carter is suspended from First Things First, two sources told The Big Lead. One source said he is sidelined pending the results of a Fox investigation. Carter was off the FS1 morning program on Thursday and Friday. The nature of the investigation is unclear. Also unclear is if or when Carter will return to the show.
Front Office Sport’s Michael McCarthy reports that Carter had been feuding with Fox Sports because he was not featured on the network’s ‘Thursday Night Football broadcast. Apparently, Carter blew up at execs and the relationship became irreparable.
One high-placed source told Front Office Sports that Carter is miffed at not being included in Fox’s Thursday Night Football pregame coverage this season.
Carter, Wright, and Wolfe shoot their weekday morning show at the site of Fox’s Thursday Night Football show in midtown Manhattan. However, Fox has chosen to fly in Tony Gonzalez and other Los Angeles-based talents to appear at its New York-based pregame show.Rumors have bubbling since Friday about an alleged blow-up between Carter and his bosses at FS1.
“I was told it was bad,” said one source.
Carter had been hosting ‘First Things First’ on FS1 since 2017 after getting let go by ESPN a year earlier.
