It’s snowing hard at Met Life stadium this afternoon and Fox decided to display some digital yardlines and hashmarks during today’s Packers-Giants broadcast to help fans keep track of things on the field.
It's snowing so hard in the Packers-Giants game that they had to superimpose the hashmarks 😮 pic.twitter.com/2Wmb2gST7C

While the digital hashmarks are cool, they do look weird after a little bit and take away from the chaos that makes snow games fun.
Aaron Rodgers doesn’t need hashmarks to throw TD passes… 😉

NFL fans didn’t seem to like the new Fox graphic.

The superimposed hashmarks/yardmarks by FOX should be met with as a death as decisive and quick as that of Crystal Pepsi. #GBvsNYG

Hey @FOXSports take off that stupid overlay of all the hashmarks in the @packers and @Giants game. Its completely distracting to watch

FOX has obviously superimposed grey graphics on yardlines, hashmarks and numerals on the snowcovered field. I'm sure it's helpful for fans to see that stuff, but I really think I was enjoying watching this mess without it. Kinda like being as blind about that stuff as the players

Fox can you please remove the digital hashmarks? It takes away from the game. #Packers #GreenBayPackers #GoPackGo
