The LSU football team will travel to College Station this weekend to play rival Texas A&M in a battle of SEC unbeatens. Neither team has lost in league play, meaning conference championship implications are on the line.

With that being said, Kyle Field is expected to be out of control Saturday night under the lights. Fans have made it their mission to ensure Garrett Nussmeier puts some respect on the venue’s name!

Kyle Field is one of college football’s most notable stadiums, often popping up near the top of lists ranking the nation’s loudest environments.

That was again the case when EA Sports unveiled its list of toughest places to play in College Football ’25.

Garrett Nussmeier vehemently disagreed with the rankings! He was asked his opinion over the summer while attending the Manning Passing Academy.

The LSU quarterback proclaimed that Tiger Stadium was the undoubtedly loudest venue in college football.

“It’s not even close,” Nussmeier said. “Kyle Field is loud, yes, I’ll give them that, but it’s not Death Valley.”

He’ll get a chance to find out soon!

Nussmeier will make his first start in Kyle Field with a target on his back. The passer did make a brief appearance late in a 38-23 loss to the Aggies back in 2022, but that came with the game already decided.

He’ll get to see the atmosphere up close and personal this time around!

Nussmeier’s been successful in hostile environments before. In fact, he’s a perfect 2-0 in true road games this year, with one coming vs. South Carolina with College GameDay in attendance.

The other came vs. Arkansas, who also appeared in the Top 25 of that EA Sports list.

He’ll try to make it 3-0 on Saturday. This might be his toughest test yet!
