Last night, the Philadelphia Eagles became one of the first teams in the history of the NFL to realize it might actually be a good idea to do something to stop Tom Brady from pulling a Tom Brady when they forced a clutch fumble to cut short what appeared to be a virtually inevitable vintage closing drive from the Patriots quarterback near the end of Super Bowl LII. Soon after, the team shouldered the moral burden that comes with inciting a riot when they prevented Brady from channeling his inner Doug Flutie on the game’s final play and secured the victory.
If you ignore the whole “losing the Super Bowl” thing, Brady didn’t really have that much to be disappointed about. He might have shown he’s not exactly the most clutch receiver in the league, but he managed to throw for three touchdowns and ended the game with more passing yards than any other QB in Super Bowl history.
However, he wasn’t in any mood to celebrate last night and headed back to the locker room as soon as his pass hit the turf without seeking out opposing quarterback Nick Foles— a move that is known as a “bad look” in many circles.
Thankfully, Brady’s wife Gisele Bündchen did what she could to make up for the fact that her husband is a 40-year-old man with the spirit of a Little League player who spits on his batting glove when his coaches make him shake hands after losing a game. According to Yahoo Sport’s Dan Wetzel, she made an effort to give the Eagles the credit they deserved as she was leaving last night.
Gisele, walking a back hallway to leave the stadium, took time to personally congratulate every Eagles player she ran into. They looked star struck.

I personally don’t know how I would react if I saw one of my favorite people from The Devil Wears Prada in real life, but I assume “star struck” would be a pretty good description.
