When former Fox Sports 1 reporter Holly Sonders was dating Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury we figured we had the makings of the next big time power sports couple on our hands.
Sadly, Sonders and Kingsbury didn’t make it, breaking up before the calendar year could run its course.
This was the second high profile relationship the 32-year-old former Golf Channel host had made news for, the first being her short-lived marriage to another Golf Channel host Erik Kuselias.
Now, to the surprise of just about everyone, Sonders is in a relationship with professional sports bettor Dave Oancea, better known as “Vegas Dave.”
That’s right. She’s dating this guy…
Not only that, Sonders revealed overnight that Vegas Dave proposed to her… and she said yes! What… is going on?

“I never thought this day would ever happen,” Dave wrote on Twitter.
Neither did anyone else, Dave.
The couple have only been together for a few months and earlier this year Dave was sentenced to three years probation, ordered to complete gambling treatment and community service, and got himself banned from Las Vegas sportsbooks for three years after facing 19 felony charges for using other people’s social security accounts to open accounts at casinos, according to the New York Post.
But, yeah, congratulations to the happy couple. I’m sure everything will turn out great for them both.
