Ismael Ayala is taking the internet by storm this week following his most recent performance at Governor Mifflin High School in Reading, Pennsylvania.

The defensive lineman is an absolute tank, standing 5-foot-7 and tipping scales at 315 pounds. Yet, he’s surprisingly nimble for his size!

Hence his Instagram handle @79HappyFeet.

The high school football star boasts personal bests of 375 lbs on the bench press and 525 lbs on squats, and his social media pages are flooded with videos of his offseason agility tests. He’s been putting in the work!

That training showed through in his team’s season opener on Friday as he kicked his senior year off with a major bang.

The lineman racked up five tackles, including a pair of sacks and another takedown behind the line of scrimmage, as he had his way with his opposition.

Ayala boasts a mix of strength and quickness, a combination that proves deadly for opposing offensive lines. His 5-foot-7 stature also allows him to get lower than most of the players he’s lining up against.

Ismael Ayala is going viral.

After posting his Game 1 highlight clip to X on Sunday, he experienced an immediate bump in social media exposure.

Popular football personalities have been resharing his page, some of whom include former NFL stars turned podcasters Taylor Lewan, Will Compton, and Ross Tucker.

While his name is growing due to that production on the football field, his talents aren’t contained to the gridiron alone. He’s a multi-sport athlete!

Ayala was seen flexing his muscle with the Governor Mifflin track and field team just last spring.

What can’t he do?!

Ayala’s team is off to a 1-0 start in the 2024 high school football season, much in part because of his performance. He’ll look to follow it up with another strong outing in Week 2!
