The conceptual designs for the Stadium of the Future were unveiled by the Jacksonville Jaguars, marking the culmination of a nearly three-year design project.

The team aims to transform Downtown Jacksonville and secure NFL football in Northeast Florida for years to come. The designs were showcased on the team’s official website and across their social media platforms.

According to Jaguars team owner Shad Khan, the objective of the project has always been to ensure a promising future for the team and contribute to the economic growth of Jacksonville.

With the city experiencing a surge in various rankings, such as best places to live, best housing market, and hottest job market, the Jaguars hope to capitalize on the city’s success and build on their recent playoff season.

The Stadium of the Future design aims to cater to the evolving needs of all stakeholders, including the Jaguars, the annual Florida-Georgia college football game, the TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl, international sporting events, major music festivals/tours, and the thousands of fans attending each event.

The design highlights of the renovated stadium include drawing inspiration from Jacksonville’s lush landscapes, with a network of biking and walking trails, parklands, greenways, beaches, and marshes.

Fans will enter through a subtropical Floridian park leading to an elevated main concourse that offers panoramic views of Downtown Jacksonville and the St. Johns River.

The stadium’s seating bowl will be flexible, with a base capacity of 62,000 that can be expanded to 71,500 for college football games and even more for concerts. The venue will incorporate state-of-the-art technology and lighting to create distinctive game-day experiences and ensure fans stay connected.

The renovated stadium will address several fan requests, including a significant increase in concourse surface area, enhanced connectivity, additional elevators and escalators, and more food and beverage points of sale and restrooms.

The construction of the renovated stadium is expected to generate thousands of jobs, and upon completion, it will become a source of civic pride for Jacksonville residents and a desirable destination for visitors.

The unveiling of the conceptual designs marks a significant milestone in the Jaguars’ plans to revitalize their stadium and contribute to the growth and prosperity of Jacksonville.

With a focus on sustainability, technology, and an enhanced fan experience, the renovated stadium aims to secure the Jaguars’ place in the city for generations to come.
