Jake Paul apparently has his next opponent lined up. According to The Ring’s Mike Coppinger, Paul will fight 135-pound lightweight champion Gervonta Davis in Atlanta, in a fight that will air live on Netflix.
“Jake Paul will face Gervonta Davis on Nov. 15 at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena in an exhibition on Netflix, sources confirm to
@ringmagazine. Talks for Paul to face Anthony Joshua collapsed over network issues. Paul’s last fight took place at 200 pounds while Davis is a champion at 135.”
Davis had spoken in the past about possibly facing Paul in a fight.
‘Yeah, I would. I will fight him [Paul] for that money, I’d give him like 195-200 (pounds), he definitely been in the gym so I would consider him a boxer.”

In May, Paul told Ariel Helwani that the fight would have “no restrictions” even though it would be considered an exhibition due to the height and weight difference.
“It would be an exhibition, 10 three-minute rounds. No restrictions, just the fact we couldn’t get it professionally sanctioned.”
Paul’s last fight was against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. at 200 pounds back in June, and he won via unanimous decision.
Davis was scheduled to face off against Lamont Roach Jr. in a rematch following their controversial draw from earlier this year, but that fight fell apart in the past month.
As of now, it’s unclear at which weight class the fight will actually take place in.
Update: Paul confirmed the fight on social media.
Gervonta who has been disrespecting my name for too long. HIs nickname might be Tank, but I’m an FPV drone and I’m about to disable tiny boy. Yes, he’s 1 of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my… pic.twitter.com/QGfybMqasx
