The rules for the Nov. 14 fight between Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis have been revealed.

Last month, Paul announced that he would be fighting the much smaller Davis at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Rick Thompson, chairman of the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission (GAEC), blasted the fight as a money grab and voiced his opposition it taking place in Georgia.

“This is the dumbest (expletive) I’ve ever heard. It’s a money grabber, and I’m not OK with that.’’

The fight has since been relocated to Miami, and the Florida commission has announced that it will sanction the event as an exhibition, rather than a professional fight, due to the significant weight difference.

“You can’t do a fight like that as a pro fight,’ Timothy Shipman, executive director of the Florida Athletic Commission, told USA TODAY Sports. “It’ll be an exhibition fight.”

“I’m looking at the details right now,’’ Shipman said. “I mean, it’s happening pretty fast. But I am sure there will be other stipulations because you can’t do it with the same requirements”

On Monday, MVP Promotions Nakisa Bidarian revealed the rules for the upcoming exhibition fight between Paul and Davis.

“The fight will be a 10-round exhibition, with three-minute rounds contested at a maximum weight of 195 pounds. The fighters will wear 12-ounce gloves on the night of the fight.”

It is worth noting that Davis usually fights with 8-oz gloves at 147 pounds while Paul has fought with 10-oz gloves at 200 pounds.

Last year’s Tyson-Paul fight was contested with 14-oz gloves.

You could see the massive weight difference on display between Paul and Davis in their first faceoff.
