The Jake Paul-Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. trash talk is already getting pretty nasty. Next month, Paul will take on the 39-year-old former boxing champ at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

On Wednesday, Paul and Chavez Jr. held their kickoff press conference, and Paul started throwing low blows by bringing up his opponent’s past struggles with drug addiction.

“There’s two things you can’t beat, me and your drug addiction!”

Paul would later vow to turn Chavez Jr. into a meme.

Chavez Jr. fired back at Paul over his comments.

“Jake is crazy. I think he’s overrated. He hasn’t fought anybody in his life. On June 28th, he’s going to see what’s up. To start off, he’s never knocked anybody out. Give me one name he’s knocked out, just one. It’s like if I fought with my dad. It’s going to be a good fight. When he was born, I was already a champ.”

Paul and Chavez Jr. are set to face off on June 28th in a fight that will air live on DAZN PPV.
