Jake Paul believes he’s on pace to become one of the most famous boxers of all-time.
On Tuesday, Paul sat down with Showtime’s Brian Custer to talk about his upcoming fight with former UFC champion Tyron Woodley on August 29th. During the interview, Paul said that he’s on a trajectory to become the most famous boxer of all-time and said he believed he’s the Muhammad Ali to kids of this generation.
“I am on a trajectory to become the biggest prizefighter in the world. For the kids, I look like Mike Tyson. Your grandpa had Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson, your dad had Floyd Mayweather, this generation has Jake Paul.”
Boxing fans immediately mocked Jake Paul over his bold claim.

Yeah, no. To do that you must fight boxers, not combative athletes from other sports and martial arts disciplines. Give the man credit, he knows how to make money. But comparing yourself to Mike Tyson, Muhammad Ali and Floyd Mayweather is absurd and disrespectful. https://t.co/O6T0nv3fFm
