Could Jake Paul actually end up fighting UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman?
A couple of weeks ago, Usman told TMZ Sports that he would like to “beat the s–t” out of “one of these internet guys” because there are no fights that interest him in the UFC welterweight division after he beat Jorge Masvidal for a second time last month.
Paul said he would accept the challenge if UFC president Dana White was willing to allow it to happen.
Challenge accepted.@USMAN84kg if your boss Dana gives you permission to box me and make more money than you ever have, let me know and we can lace them up. I promise it will be your biggest pay day.

During an appearance on Chael Sonnen’s podcast on Thursday, Paul was asked if he would actually entertain a fight with Usman. Paul responded by saying “there are conversations happening. I believe Kamaru’s manager is already in talks with Dana, and I think that’s all I can say,”

Paul’s claims are interesting considering Dana White has been adamant that he hates the whole Youtube celebrity boxing thing. During an interview with ESPN on Tuesday, White said he would never do business with the Paul Brothers.

“First of all, I would never do business with those guys, just no. No, this is not what we do. I’m not gonna f*****g loan them a guy for f*****g what? There’s no way.
“You got plenty of f******g goofballs out there that you can muster up to get in there and play these games that these guys are playing. Yeah, I’m not your guy.”
It’s still unclear who Paul will face next after he beat down Ben Askren but it seems like it’s doubtful that it’ll be with anyone currently fighting in the UFC considering the way Dana has talked about the Paul brothers to the media.
