We’re six weeks into the NFL season and it doesn’t appear that Jason Witten is going to get better at this TV announcing thing.
During tonight’s Monday Night Football game between the Niners and the Packers Witten continued to get destroyed by Twitter after delivery some of the worst commentary in the history of football.
Update:
You saw Aaron Rodgers there, blood on his elbow big old knee brace on, hit on his wrist, it doesn’t matter, he pulls another rabbit out of his head
Aaron is great at pulling rabbits out of his head. Always has been. đ”

Did Witten say Rodgers pulled a rabbit out of his head? Or was I hearing things?

Can Aaron Rodgers pull another rabbit out of his head?

A rabbit out of his head? I mean, come on.
— Stayseigh (@StaceGots) October 16, 2018
Pulls another rabbit out of his … HEAD? #WitOfWitten
— Ed Crow (@EdCrowAuthor) October 16, 2018
Jason Witten is horrible. He just said âpull another rabbit out of his headâ. Then tessitore throws him a softball and says âkittle is really flashing this year, isnât he?â Dead silence.

“San Francisco kicked themselves in the foot”
— Big Cat (@BarstoolBigCat) October 16, 2018
Jason Witten just said the 49ers âkicked themselves in the footâ… Huh?
— Derek Tate (@DerekTateNFL) October 16, 2018
On Monday Night Football, Jason Witten just said the 49ers canât âKeep kicking themselves in the foot.â Former players, always so eloquent!
— John Keller (@johnkeller2009) October 16, 2018
Jason Witten just used the phrase âkicked themselves in the footâ. Related: this MNF announcing crew is pretty bad. #Packers

Mike McCarthy is always ahead of the game..
Jason Witten said Mike McCarthy is always ahead of the game…..what game? Tiddlywinks?

âMcCarthy is ahead of the gameâ – Witten #Packers pic.twitter.com/IkEInmk6P5

Iâve been critical of Wittenâs #MNFxESPN broadcasts all year, but him saying that McCarthy is always one play ahead is an unfathomably asinine statement. The league passed by McCarthy two years ago.

"That's just what Mike McCarthy does. He's always ahead of the game a little bit."
Fire Jason Witten.

Witten seemed pretty obsessed with Aaron Rodgers’ “torque”.
This week on MNF, Jason Witten displays his mastery of the word be learned this week: torque.

God I hope Jason witten talks more about Aaron Rodgers torque and index finger
— Jsticia (@JSticia) October 16, 2018
Jason Witten torque count: 35. (At least)
— Cody (@_cpay) October 16, 2018
Jason Witten says "torque" so much, the word is starting to sound like something he made up.
