The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions. This is a sentence you can finally type out without it being a sarcastic joke. It’s real. The Eagles are champs. Philly only partially burned down after the win and all hell will break loose during the parade on Thursday.
Two members of the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl champion team, Jay Ajayi and Corey Clement, were guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. Jimmy kicked off the interview with asking them about how late the part went and whether or not they were able to get any sleep at all. He moved on to ask them how to describe Philly fans which was a pretty easy task for Corey Clement who is actually from the great city of Philadelphia. Then they got to talking about that trick play which pretty much changed the tenor of the entire game:
Honestly, it’s pretty remarkable that they only ever practiced that trick play three times before calling it in the Super Bowl on 4th Down. If that doesn’t convert then there’s a decent chance that the Eagles would’ve gone on to lose the game. And they’d only been practicing it for two weeks (three times in two weeks).
