The Dallas Cowboys will not be attending Colin Kaepernick’s workout according to Jerry Jones.
Earlier this week, the NFL decided to host an impromptu workout for the controversial quarterback on Saturday in Atlanta.
NFL clubs were informed today that a private workout will be held for Colin Kaepernick on Saturday in Atlanta. Session will include on-field work and an interview. All clubs are invited to attend, and video of both the workout and interview will be made available to clubs.

The NFL arranged this workout opportunity for Colin Kaepernick, and teams will have the opportunity to evaluate his readiness and level of interest in resuming his NFL career. His agents have said he wants to return to the NFL, and the league hopes this provides that chance.

I’m just getting word from my representatives that the NFL league office reached out to them about a workout in Atlanta on Saturday. I’ve been in shape and ready for this for 3 years, can’t wait to see the head coaches and GMs on Saturday.

In the memo, the league said: “Earlier this year, we discussed some possible steps with his representatives and they recently emphasized his level of preparation and that he is ready to work out for clubs and be interviewed by them. We have therefore arranged this opportunity for him to work out, and for all clubs to have the opportunity to evaluate his current readiness and level of interest in resuming his NFL career.”
It was initially reported that the Cowboys would send a representative but today Jerry Jones went on the radio and shot down that claim.
Jerry Jones said the Cowboys will not be attending Colin Kaepernick’s workout tomorrow in Atlanta: “We’re not gonna have anybody there. We’ll look at the tape if we need any information there. We really like our quarterbacks.”

#Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones – who was deposed by Colin Kaepernick’s legal team in grievance against the NFL – has decided the team will not attend Kaepernick workout tomorrow in Atlanta because team likes its quarterbacks.

This is not surprising considering Jones has been a staunch advocate of forcing players to stand during the anthem.

Our policy is that you stand at the anthem, toe on the line,” said Jones when asked if he would support a player staying in the locker room during the anthem.
As of now we now that 11 teams are confirmed to show at the workout but it doesn’t sound like Jones or the Cowboys are remotely interested in signing Kaepernick.
