Earlier in the week, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said that losing fans over player protests was a “huge issue.”
Jones, who opposes kneeling during the playing of the national anthem, wants his players to “make this a better place.”
To make sure none of his players knelt, even though Dontari Poe did take a knee during the anthem, Jones watched closely with his hand over his heart during the song.
