The Jets have been a laughing stock over the last decade, outside of one 10 win season in 2015 during which they still did not reach the playoffs. That may not be the case any longer.
New York opened its training camp earlier this month along with the rest of the league. However, unlike recent years, there is some buzz out of East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Robert Saleh is a promising head coach and seems to have his team in order. In addition, outside of a line that has some question marks after Mekhi Becton’s knee injury, the offense is looking explosive.
Zach Wilson enters his second year in the NFL with a lot of hype around his improvement, and he is continuing to develop his rapport with Elijah Moore. The former second round pick out of Ole Miss had a great first season with the Jets and is coming on as a clear-cut WR1 who could make some serious noise this fall.
Moore continues to dazzle.

Wednesday was no exception. This time, the highlight was more about the guy throwing Moore the ball — Wilson — than it was Moore himself.
No. 2 threw a sidearm laser to his top target that completely froze the linebacker right in his tracks and sent the NFL world into a frenzy. It wasn’t a no-looker, but it was about as Mahomes-esque as it could get.
Wilson faked the play-action, checked his reads, torqued his body to to the left and unleashed a sidearm dart across his body to a wide open Moore who caught the ball in stride with outstretched arms.

Don’t sleep on the New York Jets this fall. Or, at the very least, don’t sleep on the Wilson-Moore connection.
