CBS color commentator Jim Spanarkel is the first broadcaster to stick his foot in his mouth during this year’s NCAA tournament.
After an Allie LaForce sideline report during the Bucknell-West Virginia game, Spanarkel he made an offhand comment to Verne Lundquist that he “he learned to not argue with pretty women”
Women watching the game were not pleased.
@CBSSports Jim Spanarkel do you have daughters? Do you want them to be agreed with because they are pretty, or because they are smart?

Referring to @ALaForce, Jim Spanarkel says, "I've learned not to argue with pretty women." Why can't she just be a reporter? #MarchMadness
