J.J. Watt was born and raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin, but he has adopted Houston, Texas as a city dear to his heart and they are lucky to have him. On Saturday, Watt announced that his campaign to raise funds to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey had surpassed $17 million. The Houston Texans star posted the impressive and important milestone on his Twitter account.

The four-time Pro Bowl defensive end also gave everyone an inside peak of the recovery efforts of his charity.
